Seasonal Honesty Bar
A little indulgence, always within reach.

On sunny days, our roaming cart drifts through the patio; on cooler afternoons, these treats await inside the bar: fresh fruits, dried fruits and nuts, infused waters, and our homemade cake of the day, o bolo caseiro do dia.
According to the season, expect small pleasures too: roasted chestnuts in winter, refreshing sorbets in summer, and other delightful surprises.

In partnership with our neighbouring bookshop, Salted Books, Villa Dorothéa’s book selection reflects the spirit of the house: curious, soulful, quietly inspiring. Hidden among the pages, you may even discover handwritten notes from the booksellers… thoughtful reflections to accompany your reading moments.

The library also invites slower pleasures beyond reading, with a refined collection of board games including wooden chess, draughts, and backgammon, perfect for long afternoons, candlelit aperitifs, and friendly rivalries.
